Oldlume – Where the Past Meets Your Everyday

In 2019, I was flipping through my grandma’s black-and-white photo album. There she was—standing outside a 1930s cottage in a velvet dress, hair perfectly pinned, eyes full of quiet confidence. She didn’t look “vintage.” She looked timeless.
That’s when it hit me: real style isn’t about chasing trends—it’s about wearing what makes you feel like yourself, no matter the decade.

And just like that, Oldlume was born.

Every Oldlume piece starts as a pencil line on paper, then our small studio. Just five of us—designers, sewists, fabric nerds—working side by side.

We still hand-stitch key details—not to be fancy, but because we care how a sleeve drapes, how a hem falls, how a button feels under your fingers. These tiny choices are what make a garment feel yours.

We use fabrics that feel luxurious but wear like everyday essentials—velvet that doesn’t pill, corduroy that softens with each wash, and cotton blends that breathe in summer and hold warmth in winter.

And yes—we still hand-stitch some details. Not because we’re fancy, but because we care about the touch. The way a hem falls. The weight of a sleeve. These are the things that make a dress feel real.

We keep things local. No overseas factories. No rushed timelines. We’re not trying to be big—we’re trying to be good. And honest.
